As you will have seen, last year I took an indefinite hiatus in the blogging world. I do miss blogging alot, but due to a change in circumstances, I no longer have the necessary means to bring you the photo quality you became accustomed to. Until I find my blogging bone and get the right set up again, I need to clear some space in my now un-loved collection. 90% of the polishes I own have either been unused or briefly swatched for the blog, so they're in desperate need of a new home!

Long time no speak. I'm sure some of you have been wondering where I have been, well I thought it was about time I gave you all an update on the current status of Polished Criminails.
If you follow me on Facebook, you may have seen that I planned to kick start my blog back to life at the beginning of the year after taking a rather lengthy hiatus to focus on other aspects of my life. Unfortunately, due to a sad change in my circumstances at the beginning of December which resulted in a swift move-out back in to my parents house, my usual 'blogging area' is no longer accessible.
On top of that, my computer, which I use for all blogging/photo editing is currently poorly and in need of fixing, so as of right now I have no access to any vault photos/photo editing software that I would usually use as 'fillers' until I found a new set up that keeps up with, if not improved, the current quality of my swatches that you are so used to seeing.
As of this moment in time I'm not entirely sure as to when Polished Criminails will be back posting regularly, which I know hasn't been a long time. I just hope you all stick around through this time and continue browsing and reading previous Polished Criminails swatches and posts.
Be sure to follow my Facebook page and on Twitter for updates, which can be found by pressing the icons in the top left corner of my page!
I hope you've all had a wonderful Holiday Season and have a fantastic 2014!

Hi ladies! The official release of the brand new Ultra-Chromes from ILNP is today (6th September) - at 12 PST to be exact. so I thought I would take a couple moments of your time to show my swatches of the 4 polishes from the collection. Before I get into the swatches, for those of you who aren't aware of the ILNP brand, here's a little snippet of information;
ILNP is created by a lovely lady named Barbra and is based out of Las Vegas, NV in the US. Barbra first opened shop in August 2012 and has since taken the Nail Community by storm. Housed in a sleek, branded box ILNP displays traits usually found in high end brands such as Illamasqua, Chanel, Dior etc, with 12ml of product in a tall, slim bottle complete with a matte Black rubberised cap for easy grip and a wide brush for easy application. Everything about this brand screams high end and mass produced, when in reality it's just an indie brand of which is hand created by just one mind. All ILNP polish are created using a 3-free suspension base.
I'm going to insert a jump break here due to the amount of photos in this post, I tried my best to capture the colour shifts but it's so darn difficult to do! I also tried narrowing it down to just 2 photos, but there's just no way you could see the amazing colour shifting in just 2. The photos below show 1 coat of each polish layered over Black *ring & pinkie finger* and 2 coats of each riding solo *pointer & middle finger* finished off with Dazzle Dry quick dry top coat.
